Shifts, not games

A typical Saturday might look like this: three volunteers from 8:30 to 10:30 AM, three from 10:30 to 12:30, and three more from 12:30 to 2:30. Those shifts exist whether one game or six games are being played. Tying the stand to individual games leads to double-booking and gaps; Dugout Duty keeps concession scheduling on its own track.

Do concession shifts have to line up with games?

No. Concession shifts are independent of the game schedule, so you can staff the stand however your facility runs.

Can one shift need more than one volunteer?

Yes. Each shift has a volunteer count, and parents see how many spots are still open.

Does Dugout Duty run our snack bar register?

No. Dugout Duty schedules the volunteers. It isn't a point-of-sale or inventory system.

Can parents cancel a shift?

If your league allows it, parents can cancel from the link in their confirmation email, and the spot opens back up.
